Juanita Campbell Smith

Obituary: Juanita Campbell Smith, 78, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Tucker Hospice House. She was born in Rowan County, a daughter of the late Floyd and Estelle London Campbell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald G. Smith in 2014. Juanita retired from Fieldcrest-Cannon. She was a member of North Kannapolis Baptist Church. Juanita, along with her husband, worked for 35 years helping the A.L. Brown High School band raise funds and as a chaperone on various band trips. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 10 at North Kannapolis Baptist Church, 312 Locust St. Kannapolis. The Family will receive friends at the Church from 11:00 - 12:00 with the Memorial Service immediately following. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park with the Rev. Chris O'Guin officiating. Juanita is survived by her son, Keith Smith, grandchildren, Lauren Brown (Seth) of Hawaii, Brandon Smith (Kaitlynn) of Kannapolis and brother, Marty Campbell (LuAnn) of Kannapolis.
