Juanita Link Keenan

Obituary: Concord - Juanita Link Keenan, 85, of Concord, died at her home on Saturday, March 7, 2009. Death was unexpected. She was born December 14, 1923 in Cabarrus County to the late Ivey and Ida Weaver Link.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Keenan, who died September 13, 2003 as well as a sister, Gertrude Brown and a brother, Ray Link. Mrs. Keenan retired from Cannon Mills plant #1 after 44 years of service as a stenographer. She thoroughly enjoyed going with her husband and his World War II buddies and their wife's on their annual reunions, which were held all over the United States. The funeral service for Mrs. Keenan will be held at 12:00P.M. on Tuesday, March 10 at Whitley's Funeral Home Annex Chapel with Rev. Phred Causey officiating. Burial will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove, NC. The family will receive friends from 11-12:00 before the service at the Annex Chapel of Whitley's Funeral Home Survivors are a son, Michael S.
