Juanita Vaughn Roach

Obituary: Juanita Vaughn Roach, 92, of China Grove, formerly of Stoneville NC, died Friday, January 26, 2018 at CHS-NorthEast. Her death was unexpected. She will be laid to rest with a graveside service at 2:00 PM Monday, January 29, at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. Rev. Chris Sadler will officiate. Juanita was born August 28, 1925 in Fries VA, a daughter of the late Jasper "Jap" and Carrie Barker Vaughn. In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Ray Roach, four children; Nancy Carolyn Smith, Roger Lee Roach, Billy Dean Roach, Ricky Ray Roach and her brother, Basil Vaughn. She was of the Baptist faith and worked for many years for Cannon Mills Plant #7 in the weave room. Juanita was a hard-working, loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed. Those left to remember her are her eight children; Gary Roach (Verna) of China Grove, Benny Roach (Susie) of Stoneville, Richard Ray Roach of Boone, Jeffery Jasper Roach of NC, Sanky Terry Roach of NC, Carolyn Jean Bonds of Stoneville, Cathy Edith VanBuren of Huntington WV, Ronald Dale Roach (Ronalyn) of Hartsville SC; 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren.
