Judy Kaye (Griffin) Bostian

Judy Kaye Griffin Bostian, 76, of Kannapolis, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023, at her home.
She was born February 13, 1947, in Cabarrus Co. to the late James Tilman Griffin and Mable Louise Thomas Griffin.
Judy was a secretary for the unemployment office for thirty years; after work, she would help her husband, Barry, with the daily operations of running their convenience store. Although she was extremely busy, she still found time to prepare a home-cooked meal for her family each night. In her younger years, she was a Sunday school teacher at Bethpage UMC and helped with church activities. She loved animals and was an avid reader; she was a good listener and always gave good advice; she was intelligent and loved vacationing at her condo in Myrtle Beach. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by a brother James Walter Griffin.
Those left to cherish her memory, her husband of 55 years, Barry Bostian, her daughter, Wendy Bostian Allen (William), her son, Ricky Bostian (Janie), four grandchildren, Ashley Allen Moody (Phillip), Kelsey Allen, Griffin Bostian, and Reese Bostian.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 9, 2023, at Bethpage United Methodist Church with Pastor McKenzie M. Sefa officiating entombment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 1-2 PM Monday at the church.
