Obituary: - Judy Wildasin Brown, age 73, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis, NC after a period of declining health. She was born August 24, 1941 in Hanover, PA, the daughter of the late Burnell E. Wildasin and Vivian Kathryn Estep Wildasin. She was a 1958 graduate of New Oxford High School, Hanover, PA. Most of her life she was a devoted homemaker. She was a member of Main Street Baptist Church, China Grove, NC where she helped through the years serving meals. She loved to go boating with her husband, enjoyed cooking, and going to the beach on many occasions. Her daughter fondly remembers her as a very giving person in many ways. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. Billy Beaver. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove, NC. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service. The family will be at the home the remainder of the time. Survivors include her husband of 38 years, James H. Brown; her two daughters, Stacie Yavorcik of Harrisburg, NC and Marcia Rasmussen of Mooresville, NC; two sons, James Honeycutt of China Grove, NC and Craig Honeycutt of Morganton, NC; grandchildren, Brittany Honeycutt, Lauren Beaver, Matthew Honeycutt, Christine Honeycutt, Austin Yavorcik, and Joshua Rasmussen; two brothers, Ray Wildasin and Don Wildasin, both of Hanover, PA; and one sister, Joan Lawrence of Hanover, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Main Street Baptist Church, 1615 N. Main Street, China grove, NC 28023. On-line condolences may be left at www.whitleysfuneralhome.com.
