Judy Reeder Cox

Obituary: Judy Reeder Cox, 64, of Kannapolis passed away on Friday, September 18, 2015 at CHS-NorthEast. She was born October 8, 1950 in Cabarrus County, the daughter of Dorothy Faggart Reeder Freeman and the late L.R. Reeder. Judy had retired due to disability from Cabarrus County Social Services Home Health where she had been a CNA. She was a member of Crown Pointe Baptist Church. She was a graduate of A.L. Brown High School. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, September 21, 2015 at Crown Pointe Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Gene Beaver. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Sunday at Whitley's Funeral Home. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Tony Wayne Cox, Sr., children, Angela O'Kelly (Richard), Randy Crainshaw II (Laura), Tony Wayne Cox Jr. (Christi), grandchildren, Daniel and Ryan O'Kelly, Carson Crainshaw, Desmond and Sarah Cox, brothers, Todd Freeman, Hal Freeman, David Keith and sisters, Margaret Barber and Candy Keith.
