Judy Lynn McMath

Judy Lynn Mason McMath, 74, of Kannapolis, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024.

Judy was born on February 17, 1950 in Arkansas. She was a cherished daughter of the late Monroe Mason and Juanita Jenkins Mason. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lorraine Walsh.

Judy spent her early years in Louisiana before graduating from San Benito High School in San Benito, Texas. She moved to Kannapolis, North Carolina, in 1991, where she made a home with her husband, Jeffrey. Judy had a deep love for cooking, and her specialty was a delicious, flavorful jambalaya that became a staple at family gatherings and celebrations. Her love of food was matched only by her passion for thrift store shopping, where she could often be found hunting for hidden treasures and unique finds.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Jeffrey Lee McMath; son, Monroe Finch; daughter, Lanette Fontenot; and grandchildren, Sam, Phillip, Rose, Yvette, and Makaylee.
