Judy Farrington Moon

Obituary: Judy Elaine Farrington Moon, 65 of China Grove passed away Monday, November 18, 2013 at Tucker Hospice House following a period of declining health. Mrs. Moon was born in Cabarrus County on July 22, 1948 a daughter of Ottis Flowers Farrington of Salisbury and the late Joseph Farrington. In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Frank Moon who passed away August 28, 2011, a brother Joey Farrington and a sister Phyllis Farrington. She was formerly employed by Terry Products as a pattern maker. Mrs. Moon was known for her love of family and friends especially spending time with her three grandsons and always enjoyed the companionship of her pet Sarge. She was of the Presbyterian faith. A memorial service to celebrate Mrs. Moons life will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 7:30 PM at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel with Ronnie James officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM prior to the services on Friday at Whitley's Funeral Home. In addition to her mother she is survived by daughters; Sharon Penninger and husband Charles of China Grove, Mary Beth Jones and Connie Fink both of Mt. Pleasant, grandsons; Joseph Harrington and fiancé Rachel Mottolese, and Preston and Peyton Penninger. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Fink family for their love, and compassion shown during this difficult time.
