Judy Livengood Parson

Obituary: Judy Livengood Parson, 67, of Kannapolis died Thursday, July 8, 2010 at the residence of her son, 210 W. 22nd Street, Kannapolis, following a period of declining health. She was born August 5, 1942 in Iredell County, daughter of the late Carl William and Esterleen Byrd Livengood. In early life she was employed at Cannon Mills. She later was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith. Funeral services will be 8:00 P.M. Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. until the time of the service. At other times they will be at the residence of the son, Don Parson, 210 West 22nd Street, Kannapolis. She is survived by one son: Don Parson and wife Kelly of Kannapolis, four grandchildren: Don Parson, Jr., Lynn Fowler, Cayla Parson, and Misty Parson. Four Great Grandchildren: Destiny, Seth, Kerstin and McKenzie. Also survived by two Brothers: Butch and Shirley Livengood of Mooresville and Gene and Joyce Livengood of China Grove. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by another son: Tim Parson. Memorials may be made to Rowan Regional Home Health and Hospice, 720 Grove Street, Salisbury, NC, 28144.
