Judy Carver Sutherland

Obituary: Judy Carver Sutherland, 59, of Mooresville passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018. She was born June 15, 1959 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late Wallace (Wally) Jennings Carver and Lula Belle (Lucy) Smith Carver. She was also preceded in death by a nephew, Ronald Shore. Judy had formerly worked at Cannon Mills and Dr. Penna Orthodontics for several years. She has been a homemaker for the last five years. Judy loved all animals, especially her cats. Judy was an avid scrapbooker, loved flowers and gardening. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Bobby Sutherland. Burial will follow at Unity United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 PM Thursday prior at Whitley's. Judy is survived by her husband of 35 years, Kenneth E. Sutherland Sr., son, Kenneth E. Sutherland Jr., and wife Brandy and grandson, Bentley, sisters, Deborah Fisher and husband, Rick, Cynthia Benton, brother, Tim Carver and wife, Sherry and several nieces and nephews.
