Obituary: Salisbury - Judy Lane Calloway Williams, 59, of 125 Paige Dr., Salisbury, NC died on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. She had been in declining health but death was unexpected. Mrs. Williams was born on July 28, 1949 in Mooresville, NC, the daughter of the late Robert A. Calloway and the late Etta Brotherton Calloway. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce Calloway and R.D. Calloway and by two sisters, Flowlla Allen and Orleena Abernathy. Judy enjoyed attending Eva Drive Missionary Baptist Church and had been employed as a security guard with Concord Mills Mall. Before this, she was a security guard with Linn Mills. Survivors include her husband, Charles Bruce Williams, Sr. of the home, a daughter, Kellie Michelle Williams Thompson and William Wallace both of Kannapolis along with a very special "daughter", Bonnie C. Duncan and husband, Larry of Mooresville, NC and a son, Charles Bruce Williams, Jr. and wife, Dawn also of Kannapolis. She is survived by three grandchildren; Brittany, Charles Michael, Byerly Wallace and a forth grandbaby on the way. She also has a sister, Dot Calloway as well as a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Mrs. Williams will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Eva Drive Missionary Baptist Church in Concord conducted by Rev. Keith Navey. Burial will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 7-9:00 p.m. on Friday, May 8th at Whitley's Funeral Home.
