Julia Casper

Julia Casper, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, in Rockwell, NC.

She was born May 5, 1937, in Ellenboro, NC to Ida Duncan. She worked and later retired from Wal-Mart at Eastway in Charlotte, NC as a cashier for over 20 years, where she met countless people that brightened her day as she did the same for others. Julia never met a stranger. She lived her life through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, enjoying a sweet treat, shopping and her ultimate pleasure was spending time with her family. Julia was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be deeply missed. 

Julia was preceded in death by her brothers; Franklin “Frank” Linder, Wardlaw “Bud” Linder, Elton Linder, Gail Linder, Howard Linder and Max “Chuck” Duncan. 

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Donna Clark of Landis NC, Teresa Bozeman (Richard Bozeman) of Kannapolis, NC her granddaughter, Sarah Robes ( Tyler Robes) of Rockwell, NC, and her great granddaughter, Averie.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00pm, Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Whitley’s Funeral Home in Kannapolis, NC.
