Julia Anne Gorham Thomas

Obituary: Julia Anne Gorham Thomas, 61, of Concord passed away on January 1, 2017 at CMC-NorthEast. She was born January 27, 1955 in Winnfield, La., the daughter of Glynn Gorham and the late Margaret "Bud" Gorham. Julia was a member of Phaniels Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Phaniels Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. A service will follow in the church sanctuary at 3:00 PM officiated by Rev. Michael Taylor and Rev. Max Vanderburg. Burial will be in the church cemetery. In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Mickey Thomas, sons, Chip Thomas (Christa), Josh Thomas, daughter, Kayla Drye (Wesley), grandsons, Cole and Tyler Thomas, Jaxson Thomas, Sawyer Thomas, Bailey and Justin Drye, granddaughter, Katelynn Mae Thomas, brother, Toby Gorham, and a sister, Glynda Carpenter.
