Juliann Cline Wood, 69, of Landis, died Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Tucker Hospice House after a period of declining health.
Her visitation will be at Whitley’s Funeral from 12:00 to 1:30 PM Saturday, June 20 with a graveside service following at Carolina Memorial Park at 2:00 PM Saturday with Rev. Scott Wheeler officiating.
Juliann was born November 14, 1950 in Cabarrus Co., a daughter of the late J.D. and Frances Jordan Cline. In addition to her parents, Juliann was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny William Wood. Juliann was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from A.L. Brown Highschool in 1969 and later attended Rowan Cabarrus Community College. In early years, Juliann worked at Cannon Mills in the towel cutting dept. Later after the Mill closed, she went to work for RCCC in Student Services at the Salisbury Campus.
Juliann loved her cat, “Buttercup”. She enjoyed playing Bingo and going to the beach. Juliann was a loving and devoted older sister and aunt and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her brother, Tony Edward Cline (Belinda) of Salisbury; her sister, Kay Cline Baker (Mark) of Kannapolis; her nieces, Toni Lee Cline of Landis, Amber Baker Richards (Chris) of Charlotte and her nephew, Mathew Edward Cline (Brittany) of Kannapolis and 4 great-nephews and 1 great-niece.
