Julie Ann (Watson) Chandler

Julie Ann Watson Chandler, 60, of Concord, passed away June 2, 2023, at her home.

She was born September 3, 1962, in Illinois to Carol Watson and the late Henry Duncan Watson. Julie received a bachelor's in English from University of Illinois at Chicago, and worked as a proof-reader after college. She was a stay-at-home mom when her girls were younger; then worked as a Deputy Clerk of Court for Cabarrus County. She was very artistic, she enjoyed painting and photography. She also enjoyed camping and hiking, and loved visiting the mountains. She was an avid reader with a love for thriller/horror fiction. Julie loved animals, music, and stand-up comedy. Her biggest love of all, was for her daughters.

Those left to cherish her memory; two daughters Anna Chandler (Timothy) and Caitlin Chandler, mother Carol Watson, brother Tim Watson (Judy), sister Kathy Rittgers (Kevin), father of the girls Greg Chandler, her and Caitlin's cat Burrito, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Gathering of friends and family will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, June 9, 2023 at the Whitley's Event Center.
