Obituary: Julie Elaine Grice Stillwell, 58, of Kannapolis went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Tucker Hospice House. Julie was born May 25, 1960 in Mecklenburg County, NC a daughter of Elizabeth Ann Dodgens Williams of Statesville and the late Edward Curtis Grice. Julie had served as a CNA at local hospital and nursing facilities. She enjoyed puzzles and reading in her spare time and was a former member of VFW Post 8989. She was of the Church of God Faith. Family members left to cherish her memory in addition to her mother are her husband, Edward Eugene Stillwell of the home, two daughters; Sharon Collins and husband Shay with four grandkids Jessica, Annelaine, Allison and Aiden of Charlotte, and Mary Boger and husband Justin with three grandkids Ryan, Madison and Zoey of Kannapolis, three sisters, Anne Williams and Deborah Tirpak both of Statesville and Gamila Al Sadat of Charlotte along with various family members. Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Whitley's Funeral Home conducted by Pastors Rodney Evans, Troy Rushing, and Don Braswell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the National Cemetery Annex, 501 Statesville Blvd. Salisbury, NC 28144.
