Julie Ann (Mclain) Walter

Julie McLain Walter, 58, of Kannapolis, passed away Monday January 18, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus. Born October 29, 1962 in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Patricia Carter Jenkins.

Julie worked in the medical supply field.

She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth “Kenny” Walter; her son, Kenny Walter and wife Julia of Kannapolis; a grandson, Spencer Walter; and two brothers, Phil McLain and wife Jill of Kannapolis and Billy “Keith” McLain of Kannapolis. Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Tera Allred.

A memorial service to celebrate Julie’s life will be held at 1:00PM Saturday January 23, 2021 at New Hope Lutheran Church, 1615 Brantley Road, Kannapolis, NC 28083. Rev. Janice Kelly will officiate. Inurnment will immediately follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
