Kadi Ann Paden

Obituary: Kadi Ann Paden, 19, of Kannapolis returned to the Arms of God on Monday, February 20, 2012. Her death was unexpected. Kadi was born April 27, 1992 in Cabarrus Co. She was the daughter of Clifford Paden, Jr. of Salisbury and Helen "Libby" Lambert Paden of Kannapolis. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 25 at Whitley's Funeral Home Annex Chapel with Rev. Corey Alley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, February 24 at Whitley's Annex Chapel. Kadi was a life-long area resident and 2010 Graduate of A.L. Brown High School where she had been active in Marching Band, Color Guard and the Vocal Ensemble. Kadi attended Rowan Cabarrus Comm. College and worked seasonally for Cherry Hill Photography in Carolina Mall as Santa's helper and the Easter Bunny. She enjoyed singing Karaoke, riding horses and dancing. She was full of life and was always active. Kadi was a beloved daughter, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roscoe and Betty Lambert, her uncle, Michael Anthony Paden and her niece, Michaela Anne Mullis. In addition to her parents Kadi is survived by her sister, Joy Furr Zell (Jim) of Kannapolis and her brothers; Kristopher Furr of the family home, Jason Paden of Randleman NC, Bryan Paden of Kannapolis, Braydon Larkin of Conn. and her grandparents, Clifford Paden, Sr. (Betty) of FL and Jan Levens of Blue Ridge GA. Also surviving are her aunt Betty Ann Graham of China Grove and niece, Annabelle Mullis as well as other loving relatives.
