Obituary: Kathaleen Sellers Foutz, 80, of Kannapolis passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at her home. She was born September 13, 1933 in Chesterfield County, SC, the daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Maggie Viola Wilson Sellers. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Hanes Brendle. Kathaleen had previously worked at Terry Products and Cannon Mills Company. She loved to read and cook. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiate by Rev. Mitch Thomas. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM prior at Whitley's. At other times, they will be at the home. She is survived by her husband, Roy Jacob Foutz, her son, Tony C. Hanes of Washington, her daughter, Robin Bost Blackwelder of Kannapolis, 2 grandchildren, Dennis Lee Bost and Samantha Annette Bost and her sister, Helen Outen of California.
