Obituary: Katherine Ann (Kathy) Smith Shehorn, age 62, of Salisbury passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017 at her residence. Mrs. Shehorn was born July 4, 1955 in Lee County the daughter of the late Melvin Smith. She was a graduate of Chilhowie High School. Kathy enjoyed working crosswords, sewing and spending time with her family. Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Timothy Shehorn whom she married October 31, 2013; children Jennifer Ann Finley (Bryan) of China Grove, John Burton Williams III of Jarratt, VA; step-children Yvette McCrae of Georgia and Tamara Shehorn of China Grove; grandchildren Natasha Smith, Austin Finley and Taylor Williams; great-grandchild Ethan Fontenot. A Celebration of Kathy's Life will be held at 12 Noon Sunday, September 10, 2017 at her daughter Jennifer Finley's residence 420 Sylvan Road, China Grove, NC 28023.
