Katherine Snow

Obituary: Katherine Barnes Snow, 94, passed away Tuesday morning, March 26, 2019, at CHS-NorthEast Medical Center, following a period of declining health. Born August 24, 1924 in Iredell County, Katherine was a daughter of the late George Washington Barnes and Lenora Swicegood Barnes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Snow, and her son, Eddie Wayne Snow. Mrs. Snow had retired after more than 40 years of devoted service from Cannon Mills. Katherine will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Loving family members include her grandchildren Zachery Todd Snow and Melissa Y. Snow; her great grandchildren, Fallyn Howard, Madolyn Howard, Blair Floyd, Devin Lowe and Summer Snow; and her great-great grandchildren, Jayden, Otto, Christian, Kamden, Kadance and Autumn. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45 PM Friday, March 29th at Whitley's Funeral Home. Graveside services to remember and celebrate the life of Mrs. Snow will begin at 2:00 PM Friday, at Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Mark Vickers.
