Kathleen Hall

Obituary: Kathleen Gwen Brown Hall, 85, of Rockwell, formerly of Landis went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the Meadows of Rockwell following a period of declining health. She was born September 5, 1931 in Cabarrus County, NC a daughter of the late Smith and Grace Brown. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert "Hoot" Hall who died Sept. 19, 2005. Kathleen was a member of First Baptist Church of Kannapolis. She retired from Fieldcrest-Cannon where she was a bookkeeper. Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Murphy of Spencer, two grandchildren; Loryn (Chase) Kilpatrick of Rockwell and Noah (Laura) Murphy of Landis, five grandchildren; Mason, Griffin, Millie, and Oakley Kilpatrick and Alexandria Hall. Also surviving is one sister, Hazel Belk. Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 26, 2017at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis conducted by Dr. Tom Cabaniss. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Kannapolis, 101 N. Main Street, Kannapolis, NC 28081. Whitley's Funeral Home is serving the family of Mrs. Hall.
