Kathleen Linker Moose

Obituary: Kannapolis- Kathleen Linker Moose, 90, passed away Friday, June 22, 2018, at CHS-Northeast Medical Center. Born August 31, 1927 in Cabarrus County, she was a daughter of the late James Willis and Mattie Shinn Linker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester C. Moose, Jr; her sisters, Wilma St. John and Ruth Raper; and nephew, Jimmy St. John. Kathleen had moved from Hiram, GA to Kannapolis in 1991, following the death of her husband. She had been a seamstress most of her life and was a devoted and active member of Mt. Mitchell United Methodist Church, as long as her health allowed. Family members include her nephews, Eddie and Randy Raper; a niece, Jeanie Johnson; and her step son, Hank Moose. A graveside service to remember and celebrate the life of Mrs. Moose will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, June 28th at Mt. Mitchell UMC cemetery. Memorials may be made to Mt. Mitchell UMC, 6001 Old Salisbury-Concord Rd., Kannapolis, NC 28083.
