Kathy Watson Wilhelm

Obituary: Kathy Watson Wilhelm, 66, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis. She had been ill since 2002. Kathy was born September 27, 1951 in Cabarrus County, NC a daughter of the late Grover H. and Ann McSwain Watson. Kathy was employed in customer service at Cannon Mills until 1984. She loved traveling with her husband, and was an avid bowler. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Kathy also loved her dogs, especially Precious. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. R.J. " Beaver" Hammond. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis. The family will receive friends at Whitley's Funeral Home Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. and from 12:00 to 1:00 PM Wednesday prior to the service. Family members left to cherish her memories are her husband, Ronald E. Wilhelm, two daughters, Angela Allman Swift and Melissa Renee Wilhelm, one son, Scott Anthony Allman and wife Sheila, one brother, Michael R. Watson and wife Frances. She is also survived by four grandchildren; Heather Swift Lyman and husband Wayne, Caleb David Swift, Ryan Chandler Wilhelm, and Krista Renee Poole, and four great grandchildren; Harper Ann Lyman, Chandler Justin Wilhelm, Avalee Annette Rackley and Carsyn Michael Wilhelm.
