Kaylen was born on October 9, 1998, in Cabarrus Co. she was the daughter of Amy Osborne Teague former Stepfather Luke Absher & girlfriend Shannon Postl of Kannapolis and Larry Dean Teague Jr & wife Shelley also of Kannapolis. Kaylen attended Cabarrus County Performance Learning Center. She graduated in 2017. After school she went into the food industry where she flourished and became a manager. All her customers loved her!

Kaylen is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Jimmy & Betty Hooper. Her paternal grandparents Larry Teague & Wanda Self, And uncle Douglas Teague.

Kaylen leaves behind her parents Amy Osborne Teague & Larry Dean Teague Jr. and her four siblings. She was the oldest of all her siblings, one sister Carmyn Teague and three brothers Gavin Teague, Travis Absher, Brayden Absher. She also leaves behind several cousins, aunts and uncles that she loved very deeply. She was very close with her family, especially her cousins Jadah, Emmalee, and Erika Teague. And her favorite aunt and uncle Daniel & Michelle Teague, she truly lived her life to the fullest. Everyone that knew her would say that she was a light in the darkness. She always knew how to make everyone smile. Kaylen was a free spirit with an infectious smile that impacted everyone's lives around her. She will absolutely be missed by everyone that knew her!

Celebration of Life will be held on October 8th, 2023, at Bakers Creek Park, Mountain Street Shelter between 2:00pm-5:30pm.
