Keith Monroe Beaver

Obituary: Keith M. Beaver, age 51, died unexpectedly Saturday, January 9, 2010 at his home. He was born August 25, 1958 in Cabarrus County, NC, the son of the late George Joseph Beaver and Evelyn Carolyn Oates Beaver. He was a 1976 graduate of A.L. Brown High School and a 1980 graduate of Wingate College with a degree in human services. He was employed with the Coltrane Life Center in Concord and later with the Cabarrus County Department of Social Services where he worked for 15 years until his early retirement due to disability. He was a member of Midway United Methodist Church, Kannapolis, NC and Allen-Graham Masonic Lodge # 695. He had a love of collecting antique clocks, historical and Hollywood memoriabilia, and antique furniture. The funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. Dave Cash. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Teresa Love Beaver; his son, Jeremy Matthew Beaver of Charlotte, NC; his aunts and uncle, Gladys Willer and Dorothy Saunders, both of Pinehurst, NC, Margaret Graves of Mocksville, NC, and Lee Beaver of Concord, NC; and numerous other family members.
