Keith Bryan Belk

December 8, 1955 — April 21, 2020

Kannapolis

Keith Bryan Belk, 64, of Kannapolis passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at his home. He was born December 8, 1955 in Iredell County, a son of Ree Bryan Belk of Kannapolis and the late John Carroll Belk. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Arizona Jade Belk and a sister, Sandra B. Glover.

Keith lived in Rowan County for most of his life, graduating from South Rowan High School in 1974. He took classes at Rowan Cabarrus Community College to become an electrician.

Keith worked for American Truetzschler for many years, planning to retire in December. He was a member of Blackwelder Park Baptist Church. Keith served the Landis Fire Department for 20 years before retiring from the department in the mid 90’s.

Keith will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was caring, loyal, honest and loving.  A man of few words, but his love for family was known.  He was a talented man who could fix anything.  He was always available for his family when they needed him. He loved to pick at his children and family but was always available to listen. He loved his children and was proud of who they have become.

Keith will lie in state at Whitley’s Funeral Home from 10:00 to 2:00 PM Saturday, April 25, 2020 for family and friends to come by and pay their respects.  His funeral services will be private by family only due to the covid 19 regulations.

In addition to his mother, Ree Bryan Belk, he is survived by his two children, Leah Williamson (Bobby), Bryan Keith Belk, and brothers, John Belk (Joyce) and Fred Belk (Shelby).
