Obituary: China Grove, NC- Kenneth Lee (Doodle) Campbell, age 59, died unexpectedly Monday, April 5, 2010 on arrival at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center, Mooresville, NC. He was born March 16, 1951 in Cabarrus County, NC, the son of the late Carl Arthur Campbell, Jr. and Virginia Ruth Brooks Campbell. He attended A.L. Brown High School. He was employed with ARGIX Direct, Charlotte, NC. A private graveside service was held at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC Survivors include his wife, Ann Link Campbell; two daughters, Angela Campbell Tucker & husband, Mark of Kannapolis, NC and Kendra Leigh Campbell & fiance, Hut Smith of China Grove, NC; three grandchildren, Katie Hakes, Allison Tucker, and Emily Campbell; three brothers, Steve Campbell & wife, Dawn of Kannapolis, NC, Eddie Campbell & fiancee, Becky of Mt. Pleasant, NC, and Jeff Campbell & wife, Debbie of Kannapolis, NC; and one sister, Tammy Campbell of Pennsylvania; his father and mother in law, Everette & Ruby Link of Kannapolis, NC; nieces & nephews, Amy Greene & husband, P.J., Tisha Sarvis, Stephanie Campbell, Jennifer Campbell, Chris Campbell & wife, Jennifer, Eddie Campbell, Jr, and his special little companion, Rudy.
