Obituary: Mr. Kenneth Earl Cline, 90, of 260 Palaside Drive NE. died Saturday January 3, 2015, at Tucker Hospice House after two weeks of serious illness. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 5 at Epworth United Methodist Church with Rev. C. Wayne Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church 1 hr prior to the funeral. Mr. Cline was born December 7th, 1924, in Cabarrus Country, a son of the late Parks Leonard Cline and the late Ruth Propst Cline. He was educated in the Cabarrus County school system and graduated Winecoff High School in 1941. Mr. Cline was self employed as a Snap-On Tools representative for over 50 years. He was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. Mr. Cline was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Martha Love Cline and his brother Harold Cline. Survivors include daughters, Janet Cline Curran and husband, Earl of Elon, and Amy Cline Oakley and husband, Knox of Richmond, VA.; Grandchildren, Sarah Harris(Jason), Emily Penley(Jonathan), and Alison Curran and Jordan Oakley Baltes (Patrick), Garrett Oakley (Ali) and Cameron Oakley; Great Grandchildren, Kiya Penley and Herb Harris.
