Kenneth Michael Fricker, 74, of Kannapolis, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2024. He was born on July 2, 1950, in Bronx, NY, to the late Robert W. Fricker and Irene T. Fricker. Ken honorably served in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. He retired from the Concord Telephone Company as a Senior Network Planner.
He was a loving husband and father and enjoyed being a part of The Burg Church in Harrisburg, N.C. and singing in the choir there. He also enjoyed being in many productions at Multiply Church in Concord (formerly Concord First Assembly). He also loved living and fishing in Alaska.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Paulette Johnson Fricker; his sons, Adam (Mariana), and Kenny; daughter, Allison (Eric) Erdeljac; stepsons, John Casto, and Michael (Angie) Casto. Grandchildren, Adam, Jr., Kaden, Bella, Malin, Olivia, Abigail, Joshua, Jake, Emilee and Luke; and a great- granddaughter, Rhiannon; his sisters, Barbara (John), and Irene (Laz); brothers, Rob (Julie), Mike (Sheila), Raymond (Diane); and many cherished nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday, December 27th, from 12:00-1:00 PM at Whitley’s Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, conducted by Mike Thevenin. Entombment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, with military rites.
