Obituary: Kim Ladawn Griffin Moser, age 52, died unexpectedly Sunday, April 1, 2012 at her home. She was born March 5, 1960 in Cabarrus County, NC, the daughter of Bobby Vance Griffin and Jean Horton Griffin. Kim attended A. L. Brown High School. In earlier years Kim was employed as a cabinet finisher at the former Parks Cabinet Shop, Kannapolis, NC and later worked for the former Jim Daugherty Cabinet Shop, China Grove, NC for a number of years. Later, she found her true passion and her love for animals working for Foster Animal Hospital, Concord, NC for many years as an overall assistant. She is fondly remembered for raising quality pet puppies of Yorkies and Papillions. Also, Kim had a hobby with aquarium fish and working out in her yard with flowers. She had a loyal canine companion, Kobi, that went with her everywhere. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. Mike Hubbard. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Whitley's Funeral Home. In addition to her parents survivors include her husband of eighteen years, David B. Moser; a daughter, Kenya Newton; a granddaughter, Ceciley Bradshaw; her grandmother, Josephine Griffin; two sisters, Bri Golden & husband, Jay and JoAngela Stirewalt & husband, Jerry; two nieces, Brooke Green and Tessa Golden; and three great-nieces, Alexis Fink, Madison Fink, and Jazmin Lilly.
