Kim Alyn Smith

Kim Alyn Smith, 67, of China Grove passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at his residence.   Kim was born on August 28, 1956, to the late Paul Mitchell Smith and the late Audrey Karriker Smith. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Duane Smith.

Kim was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in China Grove.  He enjoyed NASCAR, guns and watching western movies. He also loved going to the beach and the mountains. Kim was retired and was last employed with Pinnacle Corrugated of Landis.

Kim is survived by his wife of 31 years Kathy Bennett Smith, sons; Jeremy and his wife Tonya Smith, Joshua and his wife Tiffany Smith, step-daughter; Belinda Johnson(Stephen Walker), brother; Mark and his wife Patrice Smith, grandchildren; Justice, Jaxon, Michaela, and Wesley, step-grandchildren; Sarah and Timothy, great-grandchildren; Jaxon and John; step-great-grandchildren; Lucas and Joseph, nephews; Zach and Brent and his wife Jennifer, niece; Charlotte and her husband Jared and great nephews; Graham, Steven and Dylan.

A Celebration of Kim’s Life Service will be announced at a later date.  The service will be held at Concordia Lutheran Church, 185 Concordia Church Road, China Grove, NC  28023.
