Obituary: Kimberly Keller Bost, 59, of Kannapolis passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at her home. She was born December 19, 1955 in Mecklenburg County, N.C. to the late Floyd L. Keller Sr. and Loula Keller Matthews. Kim found her home at The Refuge and found joy through serving. She was the perfect match to work in the Information Booth, where she used her outgoing personality to enlarge her "family" through Christ. Kim spent several years as the caregiver for her brother and during that time he taught her patience, how to be humble, and to love family and friends. Kim worked for the Kannapolis City Schools for 20 Years managing Child Nutrition at Jackson Park Elementary. Six words that best describe Kim's life would be, Kindness, Patience, Love, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Joy. Kim wanted to express her "Thanks" to all the family and friends that spent time, cooked, and reminisced with her. And to Wayne, husband of forty years, thank you, for the love and care you gave me each day. One of Kim's greatest loves was spending time at their mountain house watching movies, eating out and shopping with "Sissie". She liked to take Adasyn to the mountain house and spend time being a grandmother. The following description is in the form of a poem. "Kim loved her family, Her friends were so dear. She held them all close, Like a fawn to a deer. But as days grew short, She was anxious you see, To be with her maker, Jesus, she would finally be." Kim is survived by her husband Wayne Bost of the home; her son, Adam Bost of China Grove, NC; three sisters, Cathie Keller Straub of Concord, N.C., Cherry Keller Wright of Kannapolis, N.C., and Kay Keller Herman of Taylorsville, NC; one brother, Floyd L. Keller Jr. of Salisbury, NC; one granddaughter, Adasyn Bost; three nephews, and one great-nephew, Elijah Ross. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 3:00 PM at The Refuge, Kannapolis, N.C. with Pastor Jay Stewart and Pastor Nathan Smith officiating. The family will receive friends and family from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Thursday at the church prior to the service.
