Kimberly Bare Parnell

Obituary: Kimberly Lynn Bare Parnell, 60, of Salisbury passed away peacefully at her home on September 18, 2018. Kimberly was born June 27, 1958 in Cabarrus County. Kimberly was a 1976 South Rowan High School graduate. Her last job before retirement was in Radiology at Rowan Regional. Kim enjoyed being a nana to her three grandchildren, reading, and watching General Hospital In addition to her husband Dickie Lynn Parnell she was preceded in death by her mother Terre Blair Bare, Grandparents Gene and Pearl Bare. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Shawn Parnell, Jason Parnell (Serenity, Ethan, Evan) Logan Parnell. She is also survived by her father Robert Bare of Landis, siblings Sherryl Brogdon (Bob), Jeff Bare of Landis, Meredith Smith (Jarrod) of Landis. Kim also loved her three nieces, one nephew, and two great nephews. Her family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018 at Whitley's Funeral Home.
