Obituary: Mr. Kleanthis "Glen" Stylianos, 82, of Davidson, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at CMC-Northeast Medical Center, Concord following a short illness. He was born August 30, 1930 in Athens, Greece, a son of the late Miltades Stylianos and Anna Korkathlois Stylianos. Mr. Stylianos was a splicer with the New York Telephone Company retiring with 29 years and one month service. He and his wife moved to this area in 1986 from New York. He loved to fish and garden. He was of the Greek Orthodox Faith. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Rick Williams, Vicar, St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Salisbury officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Janice Sealey Stylianos of the home, one son, Miltidaes Stylianos of Long Island, NY. two daughters, Alexandra (Kevin) Phipps of Charleston, SC and Joann Stylianos of Charlotte, two grandchildren, Marissa Phipps and Tim Phipps.
