Kristen Marie (Huneycutt) Furr

Kristen Marie Huneycutt Furr, 31, of Kannapolis, passed away Wednesday morning, May 26, 2021, at Atrium Health Cabarrus, following a period of declining health. She is now with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and has reunited with her much loved husband, Andrew.

Born December 22, 1989, in Albemarle, Kristen was the daughter of William M. Huneycutt and Robbin Huneycutt Worobel.  In addition to her husband, Andrew Furr, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, Charles White, a grandmother, Carol Bell and great grandmother, Mabel White.

Kristen had attended South Rowan High, later continuing her education at Miller-Motte College in Wilmington.  A talented cosmetologist, Kristen was also well known for her Farmasi and Paparazzi product distribution. She also enjoyed doing video presentations on proper cosmetic application and hair design techniques. Kristen loved her Lord, all of her family, absolutley adored her children and enjoyed praise music. She was always thinking of, doing for and making others happy, even when she wasn’t well herself. Kristen was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, granddaughter, niece and sister. Although in a much better place today, she will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

Loving family members include her children, Keelie and Austin Furr; mother, Robbin Swain Worobel (John); her father, William Huneycutt; grandmother, Evelyn White; aunts, Sherry Walter and Sabrina Campbell (Jim); uncle, Richard Swain (Sue), beloved cousins, Anthony and Timothy Walter and Meghan Swain; brothers in law, Anthony Furr (Jessica) and Aaron Furr (Sarah Beth); sisters in law, Annie Judson (David) and Casey Furr, and extended much loved family members.

Memorial services to remember, to celebrate and to give thanks for Kristen’s life will begin at 3:00 PM Sunday, May 30th, at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Andy Williamson, Pastor, Factory Church. The family will speak with friends at the funeral home following the memorial service.
