Obituary: Larry Wayne Christy, 56, of Gold Hill died December 25, 2014. He was born July 11, 1958 in Cabarrus County, the son of the late Zeb Christy Sr. and Virginia Robinson Christy. He was preceded in death by brother, James Christy and three sisters, Doris Hawkins, Mable Brattian and Johnsie Christy. Larry was employed with Ostwalt Vault Company in Troutman. He was a loving and thoughtful family man. A memorial service will be held at 5:30 PM Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Universal House of Prayer in Concord officiated by Rev. Randy Lefler. He is survived by his daughter, Felicia Christy of Locust, son, Eric Christy of Faith, grandchild, Kayleigh Shoe, Fiancee, Barbara Cline of Gold Hill and her children, Regina Cline, Candace Delpiano, Joshua Johnson, Jessica Cline, brother, Billy Christy and Butch Christy, sisters, Donnie Lefler and Kathy Harrington.
