Larry W. Coley

Obituary: Mr. Larry William Coley, 76, of China Grove passed away Saturday August 27, 2016 unexpectedly. He was born April 3, 1940 in Cabarrus County to the late Paul William Coley and Mary Ritch Coley. Larry enjoyed meeting friends at Porky's for breakfast, touring the flea markets, fishing and watching old westerns. Most of all he treasured spending time with his family. Larry is survived by his wife of fifty five years, Judy Brooks Coley of the home, three sons Robert Coley and wife Susan of Oakboro, Michael Coley and wife Victoria, Scott Coley and wife Jennifer, all of Concord. Nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and his special cat "Muffin". Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his son Bobby Ray Coley. A funeral service for Mr. Coley will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Whitley's Funeral Home Annex Chapel with Rev. Scott A. Coley officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. prior to the service. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove, N.C.
