Obituary: Mr. Larry Wayne Collins, 68, of Kannapolis went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at his residence. He had been in declining health but death was unexpected. He was born March 3, 1946 in Chesterfield County, SC, son of the late Balton C. Collins, Sr. and the late Pearline Sims Collins. Larry was employed at Cannon Mills in the carding room prior to retirement due to ill health. Private visitation and Memorial service was held Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Whitley's Funeral Home.
