Larry William Graham

Obituary: Larry William Graham, age 67, of 300 Fisher Street, died Thursday, October 22, 2009 at his home. He had been in declining health for three years, but death was unexpected. He was born August 20, 1942 in Cabarrus County, NC, the son of the late Mathis William Graham and Ola Mae Wingler Graham. He was a 1962 graduate of Winecoff High School. He was employed with Conbraco Industries, Matthews, NC for 35 years until his retirement. He is fondly remembered for loving to make trips to the beach and driving convertibles. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son, Perry William Graham who died December 7, 1999. The funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Whitley's Funeral home Main Chapel, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. Mike Hubbard. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, October 23, 2009 at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Evelyn Annette Richardson Graham; two daughters, Angela Annette Graham and Marlene Mae Graham, both of Concord, NC; one sister, Darlene Seaford & husband, James of China Grove, NC; three brothers, David Lee Graham & fiancée, Ellie Frieze, Danny Ray Graham, and Timothy Don Graham, all of Kannapolis, NC; his best friend, Gary Hunsucker of Concord, NC; and his special Chihuahuas, Buster and Sandy.
