Larry Roger Lewis

Larry Roger Lewis, 77, of Concord, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.

Larry was born on December 28, 1945 in Colorado Springs, CO to the late Baker Lewis and Frances Sutton Lewis.

Larry honorably served his country in the United States Army as a Medic in Germany during the Vietnam War. After his service in the Army, he worked for food services. He later worked as a Director of Data Recovery for T Farlow & Associates for 24 years before retiring. He was very knowledgeable in science and loved astronomy. He was excellent with giving business advice and was always there to support his family in their endeavors. He also enjoyed playing tennis.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 25 years; Karen Lewis; daughter, Stephanie Langham (fiancé, Brian Hunsuck); granddaughter, Sydney Wallace; step-grandchildren, Kristina (Anthony) Vickers and Timothy (Amanda) Pawkett; step great-grandchildren, Baylor Vickers, Lillian Vickers, Conner Vickers, Rebecca Vickers, Reed Pawkett and Riley Pawkett; sister, Linda Fluhart; nephew, Mark Fluhart, and step-sister, Lynn Enos.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Corey Alley officiating. A reception for family and friends will immediately follow the service in Whitley’s Funeral Home Annex Building.
