Obituary: Larry Wayne Miles, 59, of Kannapolis, passed away, Tuesday, October 24, 2017, unexpectedly at his home. His funeral will be at 4:00 PM Monday at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery. His family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. Larry was born February 22, 1958 in Chesterfield Co. SC to the late Margie Miles, and his grandparents who raised him Johnnie and Ellar Miles. He worked many years setting up mobile homes, he enjoyed woodworking and made beautiful furniture, Larry didn't know a stranger, he liked telling stories and some would know him as 57 Special on the C.B. radio. Those left to cherish his memory, his wife Tina Ramsey Miles, sons, John Wayne Miles and Rickie Ramsey, an Uncle, J.C. Miles, his little boy Cooper, his special extended family Travis and Marianne Starnes, and many cousins nieces and nephews.
