Larry Dale Poss

Larry Dale Poss, 62, of Taylorsville, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Catawba Valley Medical Center.

Larry was born on March 5, 1960 in Cabarrus County to the late Joseph Poss and Lillian Gibson Ferrell, who survives.

Our Father let us have his special angel for 62 years, and the love and joy he shared with us has filled our lives with wonders and so much love for our Father in Heaven.

Larry is survived by his mother, Lillian Ferrell; five brothers, Avery and Beverly Poss of GA, Charles and Christina Poss of NC, and David and Kay Poss of VA; Robert Poss of GA, and Phillip Poss of GA; seven nephews, six nieces, and 35 grand nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Whitley’s Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Avery Poss officiating. Burial will immediately follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
