Larry Dean Sides

Larry Dean Sides, 77, of Laurinburg, NC, formerly of Kannapolis, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 following a period of declining health.

Larry was born January 30, 1945 in Cabarrus County, NC the son of the late Garvice and Gladys White Sides.

Larry had his master’s degree in education and was employed in public school teaching special education students.

He was of the Baptist Faith.

Services for Mr. Sides will be private.

Family members left to cherish his memory include his wife of 46 years, Carol Ann Russell Sides of the home and daughter, Sheri Shanks and husband Darrel along with two grandchildren Gracie and Addison Ozark, Missouri.

Whitley’s Funeral Home is serving the family of Mr. Sides.
