Obituary: Laura Christine Zweifel Beam, 38, of Kannapolis died before her time on Friday, March 4, 2011 at her home. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, March 9 at Whitley's Funeral Home Annex Chapel with Rev. William Van Wieren officiating. Private interment will follow. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 PM Wednesday at Whitley's Annex Chapel, at other times the family will be at their respective homes. Laura was born November 30, 1972 in Upland CA, a daughter of Wayne and Carol Zweifel of Huntersville. She was raised and educated in California and moved to this area with her family in 1995. She was a motorcycle enthusiast and an animal lover. Laura was loving and deeply loved. She will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents Laura is survived by her husband of 6 years, Jesse D. Beam of the home, her sister, Sherri Pollak (Bruce) of Seaford, DE and 2 nephews, Grant and David Pollak, her paternal grandmother, Laura Zweifel of Beresford, SD and her uncle, Bobby Belcher (Phyllis)of Rialto CA, She is also survived by her father-in-law, Mike Beam (Kathy) of Kannapolis, Mother-in-law, Kyra Bunn (Mark) sister-in-law, Toni Beam and brother-in-law, Randy Power and grandparents-in-law Max and Hope Lackey of Concord and Hank and Bobbie Beam of Kannapolis and many other loving relatives.
