Lawrence Carl King

Obituary: Lawrence Carl King, age 56, of Concord passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Carolina's Medical Center Northeast. Mr. King was born March 4, 1961 in Cabarrus County the son of the late Carl Rollan King and Iris Lee Dunlap King. He worked as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, racing cars and Big Toys for Big Boys. He was a very happy person and had his medical crisis on his wedding day. Those left to cherish his memories are his fiancé Ashley Nicole Burris; children Haley Rose King, Erica King, Carl King II, Teri King, April King and Angie Phillips; grandchildren Destiny King and Nicholas Hartsell; sister Teresa Bentley. A graveside service will be held at Carolina Memorial Park 2:00 P.M., Monday, September 25, 2017 conducted by Rev. Ronnie Rogers.
