Lawrence Todd Sr.

Obituary: Mr. Maywood Lawrence Todd, Sr. 73, of Concord went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at CHC-Northeast Medical Center, Concord. Death was unexpected. He was born July 19, 1943 in Chesapeake, Va. a son of the late Norman Lee Todd, Sr. and the late Gladys Parker Todd. Mr. Todd was a veteran of the US Army, serving with the 40th Armored Division in Korean from 1961 to 1962. He retired from Yellow Freight in 1991 with 20 years of service. He then formed Four Season's Sports Photography Company which he operated until 2006. He was an avid fly fisherman who enjoyed fishing for trout. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Brenda Tillery Todd of the home, three sons, Larry Todd of Rockwell, Kevin Todd and wife Terri of Concord, and Eric Todd and wife Laura of Ayden, NC. He is also survived by one daughter, Kim Allred and husband Stephen of Woodleaf and seven grandchildren; Katie Todd, Zachary Todd, Andrew Todd, Blair Cooper, Karis Allred, Jayda Todd and William Todd. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Rocky Ridge United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall located at 1428 Old Charlotte Rd, Concord, NC.
