Obituary: Lee Oddis Parham peacefully went to be with the Lord Saturday, Sept 27 at his residence. He had been in declining health for 3 months. Mr. Parham was born to Henry Grady and Lissie Mae Parham of Madison County, Ga on May 3 1932. He retired from Fieldcrest Cannon where he worked as a supervisor in the Spinning Room. He also served four years in the US Navy. Mr. Parham was preceded in death by his parents, his previous wife, Clara Marie Holcomb, 4 brothers, 1 sister, and a daughter, Debbie King. He is survived by his children, Diane (Keith) Parker, Arvie (Theresa) Parham, Sr, 2 step children, Tina (Gabby) Smith, Lisa (Reggie) Faggart and his Wife, Camilla (Millie) Parham. Mr. Parham also had 18 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. The family will receive friends at Whitley's Funeral Home 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 30. 2014. A funeral service will follow at 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Revs. Gary Scoggins and Ron Hathcock. Memorials can be made to Tucker Hospice & Palliative Care, 5005 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081 or North Kannapolis Wesleyan Methodist Church, 312 West 12th Street, Kannapolis, NC 28081
