Obituary: Leonard Worth Little, 65, of China Grove, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. Memorial Services will be held on 2:00 PM Saturday, July 27 at Parkwood Baptist church in Concord with Reverend Bo Sherrill officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church. Leonard was born December 31, 1953 to the late Leonard Worth Little Sr. and Doris Emily Wyatt Little in Albemarle, NC. He graduated as Valedictorian from the North Carolina School for the Deaf (NCSD) Morganton 1974. He later furthered his education at Chowan Community College in Murfreesboro, NC and received an Associates in Printing and Graphics. Later in life Leonard worked with Pelton Crane for 25 years as an equipment polisher, and later he worked with Freightliner for 15 years, beginning on the assembly line and then moving to parts deliveries where he finished out his career. Those left to cherish his memory include, his loving wife of 40 years, Diane Coleman Little of the home, their daughter, Jennifer Tori Little (Anthony Lantieri) and new healthy granddaughter Gemma Tori Lantieri of Washington, D.C. son, Joshua Little of China Grove, mother, Doris Emily Little and two sisters, Donna (Larry Snipes) and Sylvia Little all of Concord. He loved hiking and his two dogs, Pepper and Furby. He also enjoyed old cars and most importantly spending time with his family. Leonard was a devoted husband, father and newly made grandfather. He will be dearly missed. Please make any memorial donations out to the North Carolina School for the Deaf (NCSB) at 517 W. Fleming Dr., Morganton, NC 28655.
