Lesa Michelle Bryant Barnhardt

Obituary: Lesa Michelle Bryant Barnhardt, age 43, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at CMC-NorthEast, Concord, NC. She was born January 17, 1970 in Cabarrus County, NC, the daughter of Thomas K. Bryant and Robin Lowder Keeter. Lesa was a 1988 graduate of A.L. Brown High School. In earlier years Lesa was employed in clerical work and as a waitress. She was a homemaker in later years due to a disability. She is fondly remembered by family friends as a woman that loved to fish, hunt, and camp with her husband. She had two special dogs, Precious and Brownie, that she loved greatly. Others have commented that if she met you you would always be her friend. She had a big heart. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ervin & Mable Lowder and Fred and Sarah Bryant. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 21, 2013 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel, Kannapolis, NC. with Rev. Bobby Sutherland officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC. The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home prior to the service. Survivors in addition to her parents include her husband of 16 years , Billy Joe Barnhardt, Jr.; and her step-father, David M. Keeter of Kannapolis, NC.
